Senior Credit Controller

A market leading retailer in Tottenham are seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join their expanding Finance team. Great senior position with career progression.

Salary up to £28,000, busy and varied role which you can make your own and train junior members of staff. They are seeking an experience Credit Controller who lives local and is a strong relationship builder.

Client Details

My client are based in the heart of Tottenham and are a leading Retailer who operate in countries across the globe. They offer a diverse product range and are going through a period of rapid growth so are therefore seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join them. You will report into a hands on Finance Manager and be responsible for supporting Regional Companies through the collection and recovery of outstanding customer payments due to the business.

Description

As a Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

• Contacting customers via telephone, email and letter
• Building relationships in order to reduce the debts
• Training new staff members and junior members of staff when required
• Assisting the Finance Manager when required
• To liaise with the Sales Team ensuring that Customer Credit Limits are realistic, and making changes as required.
• Regular review of the Aged Debt Report ensuring that Customers adhere to the agreed Trading Terms
• Visiting clients if necessary
• Preparation of legal forms with supporting documents for submission to solicitors and courts

Profile

• A background as a Senior Credit Control is essential
• Used to working in a fast paced environment
• Adaptable and committed individual
• Experience of SAP is highly advantageous
• Team player
• Outgoing personality
• Computer literate, hard working
• Good relationship builder, happy chasing debts over the phone
