Client Details

My client is a household name brand. Working within the aviation/leisure industry, they operate globally and are one of the leading names in their sector.

Description

You will be the key point of contact within the team for all non finance stakeholders. You will be responsible for all decision support from finance & instrumental in all decisions made within the business unit.

• Primary activity is business partnering and driving optimal business decisions, liaising with management and wider group to support or drive business value activities

• Scenario modelling to support business with evaluation of options, changes and opportunities within projects

• As key finance interface within business working groups, responsibility in managing the group to be cost conscious and explore all options and opportunities to maximise value for the business.

• Encourage rigour and a financial mind-set for business decision making, to ensure all major business decisions are taken with sufficient understanding of their financial consequences.

• Working with offshore finance teams, ensuring clear accountabilities and workload is managed

• Using financial knowledge to identify and deliver structural cost savings

• Review and communicate annual Finance Plan and Business Plans for the Line

• Ensure effective ongoing control of all project expenditure through the establishment of clear project accountability and ownership, and employing best practice control to provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting.

• Establish effective internal controls within the business and deliver an adequate overall level of internal control

Profile

My client is looking for high calibre individuals with a track record of adding value in previous positions.

The ideal candidate is an ACA from a Big 4 background. They will also consider ACCA or CIMA qualified candidates with considerable experience in a commercial decision making business partner position.

Job Offer

Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 pa + exceptional corporate benefits.
