Finance Manager - Commercial (maternity contract)

Description Ensuring the business understands and delivers against performance KPIs by working collaboratively with the commercial leadership team Identifying and pro-actively highlighting risks and working to mitigate issues Adhering to and operating within the internal control guidelines to safeguard the company's interests Helping create choices and providing decision support to close performance gaps Overlaying commercial acumen on analysis performed by FP&A teams to drive insights and decision support Reviewing and critiquing key deals/promotions to ensure best value for the business Helping the business understand year-on-year movements/up-weights on key trading decisions Constructively challenging and recommending changes to the business underpinned by sound financial expertise Reviewing, adjusting and communicating strategic and operational plans to the relevant commercial and operations teams Leading business/operational plan reviews from my area ensuring the plan reflects business reality, & appraises current performance Driving the working capital agenda in relation to stock, payment terms and collection days Profile Qualified/part qualified accountant with minimum of 3 years experience Experience in a business partnering role-preferable but not essential Financial planning, analysis modelling and developing controls Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint A proven track record of building strong cross functional relationships Excellent analytical skills Job Offer Work for an international company Close to public transport Attractive salary and company perks Maternity leave contract with potential future opportunities Commercial business partnering role To apply for this position please click here
