Currently recruiting a Divisional Management Accountant role for our client based in St Neots. You will be an integral part of the finance team providing timely accurate and insightful information and guidance to drive improvements year on year.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly site management accounts within 4 working days (3pm) of month end, including full variance analysis to forecast.
• Preparation of supporting schedules for full balance sheets reviews.
• Consolidation of the divisional management accounts with analysis of key variances to forecast, budget and prior year.
• Develop reporting to standardise across division to improve accuracy and speed.
• Manage and update the customer profitability model within Access.
• Work with the Divisional Financial Controller to produce the annual budget and re forecasts.
• Manage Intercompany transactions and reconciliations both within the division and with other divisions, ensuring all transactions are processed in a timely manner.
• Support Board management with weekly forecasts by developing reporting to accurately forecast gross margin, mix and stock movement along with other operating costs.
• Obtain a working knowledge of both ERP's used within the division to develop and ensure consistency where applicable with a view to provide cover when and if required.
• Identify and report business risk and opportunities to your line manager.
• Develop and challenge the site and Divisions KPI's to drive EBITDA and working capital improvement.
• Provide cover for the Divisional Financial Controller in weekly and monthly meetings and reporting.
• Provide cover for the Site Management Accountant.
• Support the off-site Purchase Ledger function.
• Support the audit process.
• Document systems and procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Conduct area safety inspections on a quarterly basis and complete paperwork.
• Any other tasks necessary to support the business needs.
You will require strong accounting knowledge with UK GAP / IFRS and strong Management Accounting Skills. You will be professionally qualified ACA,ACCA,CIMA.
