Accounts Assistant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant for a well established organisation based in Trafford Park. The role will be varied and busy, and duties will include:

Responsibilities:

- Managing purchase and sales ledgers

-Verify calculations and input in to the accounts system in an accurate manner

-Control and reconciliation of supplier accounts

-Running payment runs (BACS and CHAPS)

-Cash and Bank reconciliations

-Prepare suppliers payment

-Reconciliation and analysis of nominal accounts

-Assisting with month end (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cashflows)

-Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner

The Successful Candidate will:

-Already have a great track record in the control and maintenance of Accounts systems as well as good in depth knowledge of the accounts assistant duties -Proficiency in Excel (Vlookups and Pivot tables) is a must -Previous track-record in a similar finance role is a necessity (minimum 6 months) -Be motivated, driven by successful results and have a flexible attitude to work -Have a willingness to embrace and develop new skills -Demonstrate ability to prioritise and organise workloads to meet deadlines -Display self-motivation with the ability to work on own initiative

The role will pay circa £10.50 per hour dependent on experience
