Robert Half Cambridge are currently recruiting for a Cost Analyst on behalf of an international AIM listed Bio-Tech Company based North of Cambridge.
The role of Cost Analyst will include: (but not be limited to)
- Work with Manufacturing & Supply Chain to reset standard costs periodically
- Manage monthly inventory valuation and counts
- Manage month end close process for all inventory and cost accounts, including deferred cost entry, internal usage, scrap, E&O and royalty accrual
- Provide monthly inventory reports, highlighting areas of risk or opportunities for improvement inventory management
- Create margin analysis reports by product line
- Manage royalties, including working with Product Management and Legal to set and revise royalty rates, set up royalties at the SKU level, and process payments by contracted deadlines
- Support the annual budgeting cycle with forecasted margin
- Serve on ISO audit committee where applicable
- Participate in simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value-added financial analysis and/or expense savings
- Special projects and other ad hoc analysis as assigned
- Manage inventory levels, counts, changes, corrections etc
- Preparation of grant claims
- Document and update procedures
To be considered for the role of Cost Analyst you will:
- Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least 2-3 years' experience in industry or equivalent
- Must have experience within a complex business example manufacturing
- Excellent excel skills and attention to detail
