A highly influence internal customer facing role working for a hugely sought after FMCG business. Working with the Sales & Marketing leadership team and Directors you will provide the lead support in ensuring there is maximum ROI and marketing/promotions and to ensure price points are competitive in relation to their competitors. There is a data team that churn out reports, you will then be required to disseminate the data and come up with key findings, client behaviours, patterns, trends, themes and overriding insight with a view to making recommendations to the SMT across marketing and wider leadership to ensure they remain competitive and have an edge over their competitors. The ability to work with Excel, complex systems and huge amounts of data is a big pre-requisite for the role, as is the ability to face off with Directors within the Marketing/Category teams and communicate, challenge and drive actions forward. Both internal analysis and external competitor analysis/review will be a continuous part of the role.
This is a fantastic role that would suit a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) who can demonstrate such skills around FP&A, Commercial Finance and Business Partnering (while working with huge amounts of complex data) or someone who has worked in a similar role where providing key insight to ensure pricing is competitive and reacting (as well as pre-empting) the ever changing and fast paced industry of FMCG.
