Finance Manager

Description:

We are currently recruiting for a very hands on Finance Manager to take control of the overall finance function within the business. The main responsibilities, in addition to day to day ledger posting, credit control and customer liaison, will be to manage, develop and maintain the daily, weekly, monthly and annual management reports including; P&L, BS and CS statements.
Ideally you will hold relevant accountancy qualification or have a vast amount of industry experience within the Import/Distribution industry.

Requirements:

Day to day posting on the ledgers, credit control and customer liaison
Monthly Management reports: P&L, BS, CF
Developing the department controls, processes and reporting to sustain growth
Forewarning of any potential financial risks/dangers
Banking and cash forecasts
Developing specific reports as requested to do so by MD
Foreign payments and tracking
Debt collection / Credit control
Working with purchasing team to plan foreign purchases and manage cash flow
Helping out on administrative duties as requested to do so by MD
Month End Reporting
Purchase ledger and Sales ledger
Helping with setting up of New Accounts
Other Finance and Administrative tasks as requested to do so
Supervising the Finance Department
