Our client is a leading logistics organisation based in Alfreton that has displayed growth year on year growth. You will be joining a well-established company that has a friendly family feel to it, whereby you will be encouraged to help out across the finance department.

Description

You main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Reporting into the Financial Accountant

• Producing management reports, including debtor analysis and spend analysis.

• Fixed asset register maintenance, including additions, disposals and depreciation.

• Compiling the monthly VAT and Intrastat ready for submission.

• Submission of the monthly intrastat submission.

• Weekly sales analysis and flash reporting.
• Control of the treasury activities.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of VAT and other Financial Accounts duties. You will be a self starter, with the ability to use intuition to come up with solutions and adopt new responsibilities that utilise your strengths. You will be able to work as part of a team but also be able to get your head down when needed.

Job Offer

Our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 and will be happy to provide study support following probation. There is parking on site and a great ability to make an impression on a growing organisation.
