Client Details
My client is a Private Equity backed manufacturing firm who produce a number of specialist products for a niche sector. They are market leaders and have grown exponentially over the past few years. They are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the business to take ownership of everything from a Commercial Finance perspective for one of their divisions.
The business have pleasant open plan offices in the Manchester area and this role will give you the chance to get out into the business and communicate with a range of different stakeholders.
As a newly created role this will give the right candidate the opportunity to step up and take ownership of a number of different projects and to the driving force of this division.
Description
This role will include but is not limited to:
- Taking ownership of the Management Accounts process for a key division
- Owning the budgetting and forecasting process
- Sales Reporting
- MI Reporting
- Ad hoc process improvement
- Business Partnering with the senior stakeholders across the operational teams
- Playing a key part in weekly meetings to make your recommendations for your division to the CFO and CEO
Profile
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
- A qualified accountant-CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Experienced in preparing a set of Management Accounts
- Experienced in budgetting and forecasting
- Either experienced in Business Partnering or looking to take a step up into a Business Partnering focused role
- An outgoing individual with a strong personality
- Driven and keen to add value in all aspects of their job
- Proactive
- Able to work autonomously and create their own projects
- Inquisitive and keen to drive constant process improvement
