The Work In Progress (WIP) Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of scope, scheduling, pricing and invoicing of work orders to ensure that the repair and service requirements are achieved within appropriate time frames. As the single point of contact, the WIP Coordinator will act as the conduit between workshop areas regarding request for service, repairs and other general enquiries. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the role will be a dedicated resource to focus on consistency, efficiency & accuracy of work management and will integrate into the Asset Management group for invoicing and process improvements
The WIP coordinator will be responsible for;

Ensure work orders are processed and managed efficiently and invoiced accurately
Submit and maintain warranty claims
Ensure customer expectations are accurately communicated to workshop/field personnel
Deliver exceptional customer service, internally and externally
Effectively manage team resources to required business areas to maintain productivity targets

Working from the Guildford office (Monday - Friday, 10 hour days), the successful applicant will be required to travel to regional sites on a fortnightly basis, as well as being able to provide coverage at Regional branches and MARC sites as required at a Field Service Supervisor capacity
To be successful in this role, the candidate will have;

Trade certificate with a minimum of 8 years post trade experience and experience in a simliiar role
Demonstrated experience with people management
Demonstrated understanding as to the importance of effective Customer Management
Previous experience within a leadership capacity
Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes
Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously

Desirable:

Completion or attainment towards Certificate IV Frontline Management
Trade certificate qualification
Previous experience utilising WesTrac and Caterpillar systems
CPS Green Belt
