Disability Supported Pathways (DSP)
SOATS fits within the Post Sentence Branch. The business unit provides an integrated system of assessment, management, and intervention across both prison and Community Correctional Services with a view to reduce the risk of sexual and violent recidivism.
SOATS is split into specialist clinical teams. The DSP team provides programs specifically designed for violent and sexual offenders with an intellectual disability, acquired brain injury or low cognitive functioning abilities.
DSP work with sexual and violent offenders with a cognitive impairment, both in community settings and within prisons, to deliver offence-specific interventions.
DSP Clinicians ensure that offender needs are addressed on the basis of equity and a non-discriminatory approach to reduce reoffending.
We are also recruiting for Clinician vacancies in the SOATS Assessment and Treatment teams.
