Page Personnel Finance are recruiting for a Holding Company Accountant for our client, a leading Media/Advertising company located in London's West End, a short walk from Green Park tube station.

Our client is a leading international Advertising agency who work with a number of leading businesses. Due to an increase in their client portfolio, an opportunity has arisen for a Holding Company Accountant to join their accountancy team.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Holding Company Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:

* Maintaining the accounting records for 9 UK Holding and Bond Companies.
Including:
* Analysing cash movements to prepare and post journals
* Working with foreign currencies and FX rates to revalue foreign currency bank accounts, loans, bonds and interest on a monthly basis
* Preparing accounts to Trial Balance level
* Submitting monthly P&L and Balance Sheet information, for management, to tight deadlines
* Preparing monthly movement and net debt schedules
* Liaising with the Treasury Department regarding monthly cash transactions.
* Producing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Assisting in the production of statutory accounts and tax computations.
* Supporting the Group Finance Team as necessary.

Profile

The ideal candidate:

* AAT qualified and/or studying towards ACCA (early stages)
* Good understanding of double entry bookkeeping with proven application in work environment

Job Offer

Salary of £30,000-£32,000
