The position is suitable for a IT professional seeking to enhance his/her, IT technical experience in a vibrant and evolving work environment characterised by a rapidly growing firm. What you will be doing As the firm's IT Support Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Operations and you will be responsible for supporting all technical calls from within the organisation for both hardware and software issues, as well as suggest new Business Applications / Business Processes. (Level 1 and 2 Desktop, Application and Network support). A challenging and diverse firm-wide role, your remit will cover the following areas: Support / Install and troubleshoot Hardware including PCs, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Scanners, Wireless Access Points, Door Access points, Peripherals, Telecoms, Audio Visual, cabling. Support & installations of Business Applications and Operating Systems such as CRM, email applications [O365], Antivirus, Finance. Implement and maintain security roles and permissions within the organisation. Manage and renew all software licenses. Define and document operating procedures and workflows. Manage and restore backups, archiving. Manage the digital destruction policy. Routine maintenance and audits of hardware and software Education & Professional Qualification 3rd Level Qualification in IT is desirable but not essential. Experience & skills required Minimum 1-2 years' experience in IT Technical support role Experience in Windows 10 and Office 365 Network fundamentals (LAN, TCP/IP, Wireless) Security basics, Antivirus, Firewalls Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent customer service and communication skills at all times Strong attention to details Your development Education and personal development is key to our firm. This is a new role and will give the suitable candidate the opportunity to own the IT function within the firm. Support to develop the role will be provided by our existing external IT providers.
