Advance Business Centres has an opportunity for an Accountant to join our team due to continued growth and expansion of the company. This role will see you working and playing a vital and integral key role in our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Entering data from MYOB/Quickbooks/Banklink or hardcopy into XPA (APS)
• Updating and reconciling client information
• Financial Reporting tasks such as bank reconciliation, developing work paper for balance sheet and P & L statements
• Analysing and providing assurance regarding the Financial Reports information
• Performing Income Tax Returns tasks which includes payment summary, individual tax checklist, expenses, Medicare Levy Surcharge
• assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
• appraise cash flow and financial risk of capital investment projects
• introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated organisational and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good ability in written and verbal Chinese
• University graduate with an Accounting and/or Commerce degree
• Well versed in MS Outlook, MS Work, MS Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint applications
• Experience user of Accounting software (MYOB/Quickbooks)
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
