Description
Interim Financial Consultant - Process Mapping and Improvement working for a government organisation based in York. You will use your finance and accountancy skills to deliver across a number of key areas including:
- Quality-assuring data in relation to IR35 tax assurance
- Resolving conflicts of data, providing a clear audit trail of actions
- Liaising with contacts across the organisation
- Producing internal and external reports
- Providing advice to business areas around approvals on cost centre
- Preparing mappings and reconciliations to move data from one system to another
- Identifying problems and seeking solutions
- Looking for continuous improvement in yourself and in the processes you work on
Profile
As Interim Financial Consultant - Process Mapping and Improvement you will need the following experience and skills:
- Suitable level of experience working in a financial environment
- Ideally experience of working within government (central, local or NHS)
- Knowledge of creating, editing and maintaining spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
- Good IT skills which will allow you to grasp specific IT applications including Oracle, Excel and Word
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- A high degree of attention to detail
Job Offer
This role is within IR35 and so will be a rate of between £200 - 250 per day via an umbrella company or PAYE
