A true market leader, our client is a subsidiary of large global business that is going through a period of growth and seeking a Head of Finance for ANZ.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and well known Healthcare/Medical Devices business based in Macquarie Park. My client is looking for a hands on and versatile Head of Finance to become a key member of the leadership team to drive their ANZ business. As the principal financial advisor and business partner at the ANZ office and as a member of the country leadership team.
The Position
Reporting into the Regional Head in Singapore with a dotted line to the local GM, you will apply commercial insight and analytical skills to drive business performance and operational decision-making. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for overall leadership of all aspects of financial control, planning and forecasting, and business partnership for ANZ.
Oversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting and statutory requirements.
Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to the executive management team.
Partner with the General Manager and senior management to develop and implement business strategies which will meet short and long-term performance goals.
Perform role as Company Director
Ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information and reporting to internal, group related and external parties.
Ensure systems of internal controls are in place and effective; that group and local policies and procedures are complied with; and that they all evolve to continuously meet the changing nature of the business.
Continually strive to improve and develop the business and financial systems, procedures, and reporting.
To ensure that the Company's agreed financial and quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact
Manage, motivate and guide Finance employees to ensure they have a clear understanding of Business and Functional Goals within the context of Corporate Objectives.
The Requirements
CA or CPA qualified, you can demonstrate relevant experience in a Head of Finance role, ideally gained within a Healthcare/Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical industry. Specific competencies sought:
Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
Post graduate accounting qualifications
MBA highly regarded
Experience as Company Director
Experience with SAP and JDE
Highly developed analytical and financial skills gained in complex multinational businesses
At least 10 years commercial finance and accounting experience in a global firm
At least 10 years successfully managing a team and function, highly developed people management skills - ability to lead, manage and motivate by example
