My client, a market leading manufacturing business, is seeking to strengthen it's management team with the appointment of a Financial Controller. This is a newly created position reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller and working closely with the senior site leadership team. The Financial Controller will lead and develop the finance team and will work cross functionally with all areas of the management team, acting as Business Partner to the Site Director.
Duties will include the production of weekly and monthly profitability statements with associated commentary to highlight trends affecting the performance of the site. The FC will also be responsible for the co-ordination of product costing to aid informed decision making and will prepare the monthly results and performance measurements including customer profitability.
Interested applicants will be qualified accountants and will need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a flexible approach and possess outstanding communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships at every level. Experience from within the manufacturing sector would be beneficial.
