Interim Management Accountant

Sellick Partnership is exclusively recruiting for an Management Accountant to join a well-established business in Stoke on Trent on an interim basis. The company requires an experienced Management Accountant for a minimum of 6 months to support their busy finance function in their head office.

The duties of the Interim Accountant will involve assisting the Head of Finance with:

• Annual Accounts - maintenance and development of the annual accounts; Draft statutory annual accounts; Liaise with internal and external audit, Prepare and review corporation tax and deferred tax computations.
• Month End - Maintenance and development of the month end process; Prepare monthly accounts and KPI's for use by the Board of Directors; Monitoring expenditure against budget/forecast; Prepare, communicate and evaluate financial information.
• Regulatory Reporting - Prepare and submit statutory regulatory returns

The suitable candidate will have proven experience within a similar role. They business does fall under Financial Services and a candidate with experience working within Financial Services would be ideal, however this is not essential. The position will begin ideally ASAP and therefore the candidate will be available to interview soon.
