Senior Tax Specialist

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is assisting a nationally-recognised and award-winning law firm to recruit a Senior Tax Specialist to join their team in Reading City Centre.

Their tax team specialises in advising on venture capital trust and enterprise investment scheme investments. Acting for a wide range of both investors and investee companies covering the following areas:

• Structuring and implementing investments
• Reorganisation and exits in compliance with the VCT and EIS legislation
• Obtaining advance assurances from HMRC in relation to proposed investments
• Submissions to HMRC and HM Treasury on proposed changes to EIS and VCT legislation

Candidate profile:

• Experience in VCT/EIS tax is essential
• Ideally coming from a Legal/Big 4/Large Accounting Firm tax background
• Option for the role to based in either Reading or Birmingham
• Salary is flexible for the successful candidate
