Description

Working as part of a small team the Financial Accountant will be given training on and be responsible for :

  • Provide relevant treasury information to other business units/ head office departments
  • Review treasury costs, interest and FX budgets/ Control vs budget for interest, treasury costs and FX (as prepared by Treasury)
  • Support preparation of group consolidation
  • Support preparation of various company statutory accounts and Interim and Annual Group Financial statements
  • Provision of technical accounting support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for various GL accounts
  • Work in close collaboration with the Tax team on relevant month-end tax data

Profile

Minimum of a Bachelor degree (or equivalent)

Qualified accountant

Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to Treasury

Microsoft Office Pack (Word, Excel, Access), intermediate to advanced level

Knowledge of SAP and Treasury systems

Job Offer

Basic salary: £50,000.

You'll also receive a generous benefits package and a typical working day of 9-5 Monday to Thursday and 9am - 2:30pm on Friday.
