The opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance analyst to join a growing technology firm in the City of London.
Client Details
My client is a technology firm providing a range of software solutions and management services to a range of organisations in London. They are expanding internationally through recent acquisitions and have a clear strategy across the group to consolidate and continue to grow their position. In line with the growth they are investing in the FP&A function and looking to hire a finance analyst.
Description
As the finance analyst in this technology firm you will be responsible for developing a business partnering culture and providing key insight to the business on financial performance. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivery of accurate and insightful MI to business heads with clear and actionable commentary;
- Providing support to sales teams with KPI reporting and analysis on performance by product, region, and client;
- Take a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process with the department heads;
- Lead on scenario modelling and investment appraisal work to assess business opportunities;
- To identify and then implement improvements to processes and systems to drive efficiencies within the team;
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Profile
As a strong applicant for this finance analyst role you will be:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA);
- Demonstrate strong month end control experience and previous responsibility for producing MI packs;
- Possess strong excel and modelling skills (ideally scenario modelling and investment appraisals);
- Show an ability to drive process improvements;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
Job Offer
The offer to the successful candidate will be between £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience plus benefits including bonus, pension, and PMI. You will also be joining an organisation with a dedicated L&D team which will ensure you have a platform to progress your career and continue expanding your skill-set.
