Tax Consultant

Role One of Ireland's leading Law firms is currently seeking an ambitious tax lawyer to join their team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious tax lawyer to join the tax team of one Ireland's leading practices. Working with an impressive client base you will be involved in providing a wide range of tax advisory services. Responsibilities The successful candidate would be part of a team advising on the following: General Corporate tax advisory; Transfer pricing; Debt based work including banking, structured finance, securitisation, repackaging, debt capital markets, asset finance, project finance and derivatives; VAT and Indirect tax advice; International tax advice; Tax litigation; Corporate reorganisation, restructurings and inward investment into Ireland; Mergers, demergers, acquisitions, disposal, public offerings and corporate finance generally; Private equity transactions from initial investment to exit; Property transactions. Skills / Experience / Competencies Candidates should be a qualified lawyer or accountant with 1-4 years' PQE in a tax environment that is keen for an opportunity to work in a top tier law firm; Strong communication and relationship building skills; The work is technically challenging and affords an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain exposure to a wide variety of very interesting tax work; The successful candidate would be expected to display initiative and enthusiasm in his or her approach to work, perform to a high standard while meeting deadlines, have excellent communication skills and work on a variety of transactions at any one time.
