You will be working for a successful and well established sales and service based in Nottinghamshire. Your new role
You will be working as an Assistant Management Accountant, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You will be responsible for aiding the production of monthly management accounts packs, performing balance sheet reconciliations, control accounts, fixed asset registers, month and year end processes, intrastat, posting journals, KPI reports and various other areas of management accounting. You will be given the opportunity to take on further responsibility as time goes one, with a view to becoming a fully fledged management accountant.

What you'll need to succeed
This role is ideally suited to a part qualified management looking to take on new skills and further develop their career. You will have excellent experience working in a busy finance department, with a good understanding of the wider finance function as well as management accounting processes. You will have excellent attention to detail, and will be comfortable working to deadlines and completing tasks in a time sensitive manner. Your Excel skills will be strong, and you will have no difficulty picking up new systems, as well as working to good effect both individually or as part of a team.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £20,000 - £26,000 dependant on experience, along with an employer pension contribution. You will also receive some further discretionary benefits.
