Finance Analyst £35,000 + company car

I am recruiting on behalf of my client in Deeside for a Finance Analyst.
• Your main responsibility will be to provide strategic analysis and insight into the business performance.
• You will need to review and understand the drivers of actual weekly and monthly results compared to forecast/budget and prior year, and leveraging those analyses into deliverable guidance / recommendations to managers and directors.
• This position will involve working closely with the Marketing team on setting activity targets & subsequent analysis on ROI.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Analysis & monitoring of the division’s key performance indicators; sales, profitability ratios, and investigating variances to budget or year on year movements
• Developing of models to provide insight on key metrics. Working with the sales team to ensure the reports provide required detail & then managing the subsequent hand over to Sales Ops. Ensuring on-going accuracy of reporting
• Provide insight into projects to include initial evaluation, feedback and ongoing success tracking
• Liaise with managers in relation to their KPI’s
• Production of weekly trading deck
• A central point of contact
Requirement:
• ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Must have strong Management Accounting experience
• Ability to analyse
• Have commercial experience
• Ability to influence
• Experience of the foodservice industry is desirable
