Description of the role

Account Handler plays key role in managing the relationship with client and ensuring all deliverables are delivered in time and in accordance with the agreed SLA. The deliverables includes monthly accounts, audit packs and other reports relevant to the client.

Roles and Responsibilities includes but not limited:

• Prepare and review month-end management accounts for clients
• Prepare forecasts and budgets for clients
• Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers
• Review and maintain aged debtors report weekly, and ensure overdue balances are followed-up
• Review and maintain aged creditors report weekly, and ensure overdue balances are flagged to the management
• Co-ordinate information flow between back-office and Client
• Ensure that all the reporting deadline targets are met - VAT returns, PAYE payments etc
• Ensure bank account is reconciled weekly and queries followed-up in time
• Ensure petty cash accounts are reconciled weekly
• Perform ad-hoc cost analysis requested by the management
• Process weekly/monthly payment runs per agreed payment terms
• Ensure creditors accounts are reconciled monthly
• Ensure Creditors and Debtors’ account details are up-to-date
• Identify and analyse trends and key performance indicators
• Coach and mentor new recruits in team
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Key skills & Qualifications

ACCA / CIMA Finalist preferred

Good Analytical & Excel skills

Customer Service orientation

Self-motivated

Good communication skills

Prior experience of Restaurants/Hotels industry preferred

Team player & Attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure
