My client is a well known name based in South East Wales. They are growing from strength to strength and are looking to invest in developing IT systems and looking for a Systems accountant to act as the interface between Finance and IT.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PQ/Qualified Accountant who has moved into a Systems Accounting role and is looking for a new challenge in a high profile organisation.
My client is a well known name based in South East Wales. They are growing from strength to strength and are looking to invest in developing IT systems and looking for a Systems accountant to act as the interface between Finance and IT.
Sat in the Head office and reporting Directly to the Finance Director, the System Accountant will play a pivotal role working with the Finance and IT departments.
You will take a complete overview of systems processes and implement a suite of changes that add value to the finance department.
You will be able to write queries that will help mine data out of the system that the finance department will be able to use for MI purposes.
You will work with the Accountants to develop a range of spreadsheets that speed up processes around data interrogation and month end close procedures.
You will challenge key stakeholders in the business as to why processes are conducted in a certain way and drive change.
You will work with Finance and IT on the development of the ERP systems.
Profile
You will be an "Accountant" and have a solid understanding of the processes that should be undertaken in a finance department.
You will be very tech savvy and ideally be sitting in a wide ranging Systems Accountant role.
You will have excellent SQL skills.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to act as the interface between finance and IT.
You will have excellent ERP Systems skills.
You will be able to drive change through systems development.
