Description

The Senior Commercial Accountant will work within a team supporting the national business. You will be responsible for providing commercial management information, analysis and management accounts, and also business partnering at a senior level.

• Management reporting
• Month end management accounts
• Reporting of key result areas
• Translation of key management information into value added actions
• Taking ownership of a region, building strong relationships and business partnering, enabling the management team to make commercial business decisions

Profile

The Senior Commercial Accountant need to be a highly experienced, high calibre individual with strong relationship building skills. You will be a qualified accountant, used to rolling your sleeves up to help produce the management accounts and management information, while having the credibility to business partner with an agreed client base. You may have worked at a more senior level in the past but you must be happy to 'get stuck in' when required.

This is a fast paced role, so you are likely to have worked in a volume environment in the past.

Experience in Industrial / Manufacturing / Engineering / Construction / Facilities type sectors would be useful but not essential.

Job Offer

c£55,000 plus car plus benefits or equivalent Ltd Co day rate

12 month fixed term contract or interim day rate

York based with some UK travel
