Group Commercial Accountant

My client, a global organisation with a strong brand presence and customer base, seeks a high calibre Group Commercial Accountant for its head office here in Cheltenham .Reporting to the Group Financial Controller , this roles focus is the consolidation of financial information and providing key financial information services for a large and fast growing UK Group, part of an internationally listed company.
Key duties will include :
Provision of in depth analysis and commentary of the individual operating entity’s results to support decision making across the group
Assistance with the preparation of group management accounts , budgets and quarterly reviews
Assistance with the preparation of quarterly and year end group reporting packs for submission to the parent company
Ad hoc project work including profitability analysis ,KPI reviews, and competitor performance analysis .
This role will suit a qualified accountant working in a practice environment wanting their first move to industry or an accountant already working in industry .
