School Finance Manager
This position requires Bachelor's degree and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, ability to successfully complete National criminal background check, and valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Responsible for the financial health of the school; provides financial leadership for all programs funded by federal, state, BIE, and other sources; oversees the financial administration of multiple grants; ensures that program staff accomplish their approved program initiatives and that the school division meets compliance and reporting requirements for all funding sources. Assists in the budget development process and performs budget analysis duties as assigned by the Principal.
Monitors the day–to–day financial operations within the School, such as payroll, accounts payable, and other transactions.
Tracks the School's financial status and performance, and analyzes financial reports.
Reviews financial data, prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
Ensures compliance with guidelines of all grants.
Supervises Accounting Specialist and Payroll Specialist.

Company Description Blackwater Community School/Akimel O'Otham Pee Posh Charter School is a Preschool thru 5th grade Elementary school that also includes BIE Approved adult education program called Family and Child Education Program (FACE). School is located on the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) (a native American Community) in District One (South–east) part of the Reservation.
