Reed Finance are partnering with a global professional services business on the outskirts of Leeds in the search for a Management Accountant to join their well established Finance team in Leeds.

Key responsibilities:

  • To support the Senior Management Accountant and carry out all financial functions associated with the effective administration of daily operation and services of the Corporate Real Estate Management Accounts.
  • Production of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations to agreed deadlines and SLA's.
  • To provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers as part of the Financial Services function.
  • To provide key support for Corporate Real Estate Projects.
  • To provide support to other areas of Management Services including IT, Finance, HR etc.
  • Liaison with the Estates Management teams to ensure the accurate and timely production of management information.
  • Responsible for all balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of business indirect and direct costs and variance
  • Responsible for accurate recording of Capex.
  • To provide key support for Corporate Real Estate Projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc information and reports to internal customers.
  • To undertake other such duties as appropriate including offering support and cover to other Management Services functions including IT, Finance etc


You will be able to demonstrate:


  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience of working within a Management Accounts environment.
  • Experience of working within a busy finance department.
  • Experience of working within a team.
  • A detailed understanding of Financial Systems (essential)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of staff and deal professionally with colleagues, customers and business partners.
  • Strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook
