Description
As Financial / Systems Accountant this is an opportunity to contribute to accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting.
You will be playing a key role within the collection, consolidation and reporting of financial information.
You will be involved in the maintenance of the Hyperion consolidation system
In addition you will also support the collection and consolidation of quarterly reporting and forecasting information.
You will also be involved in process improvement and development.
Profile
As Financial / Systems Accountant you will be a qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA ) with the following accountancy skills and experience:
- Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel. Hyperion experience is desirable.
- Practical accountancy experience in one or more areas of: management accounting, cost analysis, planning and budgeting, financial accounting or the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Recent experience of working in a financial accounting role is useful
- Previous experience of Government and/or NHS accounting is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with staff and stakeholders at all levels;
- Good organisational skills and a proven ability to plan and manage competing priorities.
