Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently looking to appoint an Interim Group Finance Director on behalf of a circa £40m T/O Manufacturing Organisation based in West Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Group CEO, the contract is for an initial 3-6 Month period, although the successful candidate will be invited to apply for the permanent Finance Director position which is to be recruited concurrently.
Responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities will include:
*Taking ownership of the group's reporting requirements, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts
*Develop strong costing models and implement into the business to assist profitability/margin analysis
*Timely production of statutory reporting
*Working closely with the CEO and the leadership team within the business to develop aligned budgets and forecasts to drive sustainable, profitable growth
*Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
*Establish the long range plan, in conjunction with the other functional leaders
*Ensure that company financial systems are robust and compliant
*Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies including cash, debtors and creditors
*Drive costing models for products within the business
The successful candidate will be a proven finance director with an extensive track record within the manufacturing sector. We are looking for an individual with strong costings knowledge, in particular project costing and contract accounting.
