Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will manage ensuring the balance sheet is reconciled, queries and issues are managed and reconciliations are financially compliant. This is fantastic opportunity for a part qualified candidate to join a reputable, worldwide business.

Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible the day to day management of the team of four, holding the following responsibilities:

  • Completion of monthly trial balance transactions and balance sheet reconciliations including all relevant reports to be distributed to Finance Managers
  • Complex bank account reconciliations
  • Timely completion of monthly VAT submissions, liaising closely with HMRC
  • Weekly and monthly payroll reconciliations
  • Intercompany account reconciliations
  • Assist with year and period end accounts

Profile

The Finance Manager will ideally have the following background:

  • ACCA/CIMA part qualified and actively studying
  • Extensive general ledger and balance sheet experience
  • Experience of managing a team within finance
  • Up to date working knowledge of VAT and payroll legislation
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
