Finance Analyst

The purpose of this position is to provide ongoing financial reviews with clients and provide information on request. Providing financial analysis and decision support to the operational management.

This company are the market leaders in their industry and are growing sustainability. Their head accountancy office is based in Farringdon, City of London.

Description

As the Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

• Responsibility for reporting the performance and provide support by way of financial reviews and analysis to the Partnership contracts
  
• To build relationships with relevant stakeholders ensuring any risks or opportunities are proactively managed
• Responsibilities at month end include period end reporting, preparation of monthly analysis tools and ensuring all month end revenue and cost variance against budget are fully explained
• Preparation of monthly commentary for use by senior decision makers
• Preparation of month end accruals and prepayments with thorough analysis of figures in the GL and budgets
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to cost lines and cost centres
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Financial reporting of site by site cost centre data
• Assisting in the budgeting process
• Producing monthly financial reviews with senior finance analyst which produces accurate P&Ls
• Any other ad hoc tasks required

Profile

To be considered for this Finance Analyst role you must have the following:

• ACCA / CIMA part qualified
• Experience within a management accountant or analyst position
• Strong data manipulation / interrogation skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Oracle experience desirable
