Financial Accountant (IFRS / UK GAAP)

The Financial Accountant will lead the Tax and Financial Reporting requirements for the UK group including VAT, intrastat & regulatory reporting.

Support general accounting activities including month end close.

Our Client designs and manufactures state of the art electronic control systems that are utilised by private and public sector organisations including the military.

Description

You'll be joining an established team with support of technical accounting experts.

Your role will involve producing the statutory accounts for local entities, reporting under iFRS and UK GAAP.

You'll prepare the interim and full year disclosures for group reporting, monthly management accounts and ensure balance sheet reconciliations.

You'll get involved in tax computations, transfer pricing and projects focused on streamlining and optimising the financial reporting process.

Profile

It is essential that you are a qualified accountant with a good academic record.

If you have an understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP that would be beneficial but is not essential.

Experience gained in Industry in financial accounting or in practice as an auditor is welcome.
