Description

Payroll Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist the Group Payroll Manager to ensure that employees are paid on time every time
• Create and maintain employee payroll records
• Processing of variable payments e.g. sickness, maternity pay, unpaid holiday etc...
• Maintaining an understanding of current payroll legislation
• Provide support for pay queries received by telephone, email or mail
• Assist with paying of personal expense claims
• Assist with month end processes and month end reconciliations
• Adhere to agreed monthly key performance indicators

Profile

Payroll Assistant Responsibilities:

• Previous experience of working in a group payroll function across a multi-site business
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Someone who has started or looking to study CIPP
• Self starter and enjoys the challenges of a growing business
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly & accurately under pressures to meet deadlines
