Description
Payroll Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Payroll Manager to ensure that employees are paid on time every time
- Create and maintain employee payroll records
- Processing of variable payments e.g. sickness, maternity pay, unpaid holiday etc...
- Maintaining an understanding of current payroll legislation
- Provide support for pay queries received by telephone, email or mail
- Assist with paying of personal expense claims
- Assist with month end processes and month end reconciliations
- Adhere to agreed monthly key performance indicators
Profile
Payroll Assistant Responsibilities:
- Previous experience of working in a group payroll function across a multi-site business
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Someone who has started or looking to study CIPP
- Self starter and enjoys the challenges of a growing business
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly & accurately under pressures to meet deadlines
