Based in Sheffield, the role of the Interim Finance Business Partner is to provide support, impart expertise and challenge the necessary processes and people through partnering effectively with the wider business.

My client has partnered with Michael Page to find TWO strong Interim Finance Partners for two maternity covers. They are a large services organisation based in a conveniently located area of Sheffield.

Description

The Interim Finance Business Partner, based in Sheffield, will be take responsibility in the following areas of expertise:

• Partner with the Operations team by providing financial information and interpretation, via proactive analysis of the contracts

• Develop a better understanding of the business and improving operational performance.

• Working with Operational management, ensure that plans, budgets and forecasts for the contract are both challenging and achievable

• Manage and set performance KPI's and compliance through partnering with all relevant stakeholders for each contract

• Provide financial expertise for the contracts

• Produce balance sheet, cash flow forecasting and cash budgets

• Inform central finance team of any specific requirements and specifications of the contracts

• Proactively input in to contract negotiations and contract decision making initiatives

• Attend key meetings regarding contracts as required, including meetings with the client

• Drive for value at the bottom line, with a focus on revenue enhancement and cost saving opportunities.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Interim Finance Business Partner role will have the following qualities:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA will take preference

• Proven relevant experience in Finance Business Partner roles

• Good financial & commercial acumen and strength in accurately analysing complex data

• Good communicator and strong inter-personal skills

• Excellent problem solving, analytical and customer service skills

• Excellent planning & administration skills

Job Offer

There are two roles here. One will start in the next couple of weeks, the other can wait as late as the end of July/early August to start. Therefore, you can apply if you are currently in a role that's due to finish around that time.

£40,000 - £48,000 equivalent (c.£200 - c.£240 per day)

Both are 6-9 months (9 most likely) in length
