Reporting into the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will oversee a team of 4 and will be responsible for producing monthly and yearly accounts for the Southport site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Accountant to join one of the fastest growing companies in the area.

Description
The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
- Act as number 2 to the Finance Director, directly responsible for a team of 10
- Production of monthly management accounts and yearly accounts
- Acting as Finance Business Partner for the Southport site
- Producing month end reports and variance analysis
- Budgeting process to P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflows
- Balance sheet control and reconciliations
- Ad hoc finance and system projects when required
Profile
- Previous experience in a Financial Controller/Manager capacity
- Must be studying towards CIMA or ACCA
- Advanced Excel skills
- Highly analytic/problem solver
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability (and experience of) to manage large transactional teams
