Credit Controller

A growing retail company in the heart of St Albans are seeking a Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. Full time position offering a competitive salary and bonus structure, along with a collaborative and friendly working environment.

You will have your own set of clients to manage and work in a small Credit Control team and report into a hands on Credit Manager who is happy to train you.

My client are a local Retail organisation who are rapidly growing and partner with companies all over the UK and beyond. Their Head office is based in the heart of St Albans where this role will be based, sitting within a small Credit Control team and managing your own set of clients.

Description

• Cash collections for international customers
• Escalating problem payment customers to the Credit Manager where appropriate, to reduce bad debt exposure
• Maintaining a ledger of all Intercompany accounts, which includes cash collection via email and telephone
• General administration

• Helping other team members with ad-hoc duties during busy periods

Profile

• Ideally a background in Credit Control or Customer Relations
• Local to St Albans
• Hard working team player
• Proficient with Excel
