Hours of work 09.00 -17.30 Monday - Friday
Our client is an independently owned Insurance Broker based in Northamptonshire.

Their Claims Department are looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join a busy department dealing with Defendant motor insurance claims. The role would suit, those with experience of personal injury from both a Defendant and Claimant background. We will consider applications from qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives, non-qualified Fee Earners, Paralegals and Claims Handlers.

- Your awareness of current and future legal development in the UK
- Your excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of Multi Track and higher value claims
- A good understanding of the Litigation process
Your duties will involve:
- Managing a caseload of pre-litigated Defendant personal injury and property damage claims arising out of road traffic accidents. Single and multiple Claimant cases with a value in excess of £30,000.00
- Investigating potential large loss claims
- Considering the validity of claims submitted including claims involving LVI, Fraud and Occupancy issues
- Ensuring full compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules
- Reviewing all evidence, establishing prospects of success, valuing injury claims, credit hire and other special damages
- Liaising with service providers where necessary
- Identifying and reporting areas of improvement for systems and workflow
