Finance Analyst

My client is a major brand in the international development sector. Operating in over 100 countries, they help to change the lives and futures of some of the world’s most vulnerable people on a daily basis. At present they are looking for a high calibre Finance Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing quality strategic insight, process management and business engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the FP&A leadership with implementation of the budgeting process, and contribute to the design of tools, templates and guidance.
• Support budget holders with the preparation of budgets and forecasts including variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly management accounts including accrual and prepayment reconciliations.
• Provide management reporting and KPI commentary for allocated areas.
• Produce ad hoc financial analysis for Leadership and key stakeholders.
• Act as a business partner for stakeholders providing guidance and advice and dealing with all finance-related queries.

• Support the design and testing of FP&A process improvements as required.

• Support Finance projects where required.

The successful candidate will be at least part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have excellent excel skills, including expertise in spreadsheet modelling and analysis. They will have the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders with a conscientious manner and pride in delivering high quality, accurate information.
