Accountant

An urgent need has arisen for a driven Qualified Accountant to join an established team based in South Manchester.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working within a team of 10 your key duties will include :

• Take a lead role and responsibility for the achievement of key deliverables including budgets, month end reporting and day to day business activities
• Monthly reporting including results analysis and commentary, cash flow forecasting, budget ownership and monthly forecast
• Stock management
• Liaison with external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors and HMRC representatives
• Responsibility for the adherence to external laws with regards to imports / exports and VAT compliance
• Provide assistance to the Financial Controller as required
• Ad hoc project work
• Financial reporting for several small businesses
• Standard costing

The successful candidate will ideally be newly qualified or 2-3 years PQE. Experience within manufacturing is essential

You will possess energy and drive and be able to work on your own initiative
