Regional Senior Auditor

Our client is a renowned expert in their industry, and are widely recognized for the quality of their products and services. The business is global, and employs more than 2000 people in the Asia region. As part of a business-wide exercise to align corporate functions into the Regional Headquarters here in Singapore, the company is currently looking to hire an APAC Senior Internal Auditor to oversee the function for the Asia region.

Reporting into the Audit Manager, you will be fully responsible for leading and conducting the full process of risk-based audits and more importantly to provide recommendations for improvements to current functional management. On top of that, implementing verified controls and processes within the region would be key in helping the organization focus on control and compliance on areas where risk is the greatest. The organization will seek to rely on the Internal Audit team to evaluate their exposure to risk and gaps in controls / compliance.

As this is a newly created division for the Asia region, your scope of responsibilities will include conducting the preparation, planning, execution and reporting of audits and to facilitate senior management actions. As this is a regional role, 40-50% travel will be required.

The ideal candidate is a CPA holder with minimum 2 years in Big4 Audit, with at least 3-5 years regional internal audit experience, preferably in a MNC (multi-national corporation). You are self-motivated and eager to contribute and excel. Well-presented with excellent communication skills, you work well with internal stakeholders and engage them with a consultative approach facilitating business decisions.
