This is a dynamic team which provides high quality financial reporting and analysis to a global, fast-paced professional services business. The London team co-ordinates and consolidates the global accounting setup and offers operational and technical support to our international offices.

The accounts assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable team with invoice and expense processing for the groups international trading companies

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

  • Invoice processing

  • Daily posting of AP invoices

  • Receipt and initial coding of a high volume of inter-company purchase invoices and sending out to relevant budget holders for approval

  • Analyse large value invoices for automatic posting to Agresso accounting system (including Dial-a-Cab)

  • Daily posting of AP invoices

  • Payment processing

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly BACS runs

  • Assist with ad hoc cheque payments

  • Staff Expense Processing

  • Check and Process expenses for posting to the accounting system

  • Additional Administration

  • Assist with expense and purchase ledger analysis for PAYE Settlement

  • Update monthly exchange rates on the accounting system

  • Archiving

  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

Profile

SKILLS REQUIRED - ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

  • Up to 2 years' experience in an administrative/accountancy role

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Have strong time management skills

  • Reasonable literacy in the use of Excel

  • Professional, strong client-service attitude

  • Pro-active with a can-do attitude and willing to offer support readily

  • An appreciation of confidentiality

  • Microsoft Dynamics365 or Agresso an advantage

Job Offer
