The Business Support Services area provides financial assistance to programs within the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer portfolios. Departments within this portfolio include: Pathology, Diagnostic Imaging, Pharmacy, Doctors Education, Doctors Workforce, Health Research and Implementation, Innovation Patient Safety and Experience, Residential Care, Nursing, Support Services and Capital & Infrastructure. The primary function of this role is to support the Business Managers within the CMO and CNO portfolio to assist the development, provision and analysis of relevant operational and financial performance reporting and activity data relating across their portfolio and in addition assist with additional project initiatives within each department.

Responsibilities

The position will:

• Assist Business Managers and Business Analysts in the provision and analysis of relevant operational and financial information and implementation of business strategies, within their allocated portfolio.
• Develop operational projects within program areas
• Provide general support and back fill for the Business Support Services team

Experience and expertise

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

• Excellent planning, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills; ideally in a health environment
• Superior communication, interpersonal and team management capability.
• Project management experience

A current Victorian Driver's Licence and the ability to travel between Monash Health sites is a requirement of this role and any offer of employment will be confirmed on the successful outcome of a Police Check.
