An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, financial services business as a Management Accountant. This business has an excellent reputation, providing solutions to the general public through impressive customer service and the latest digital options via their online service.
In joining this business as the Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Chief Accountant, acting as a bridge between finance and the wider business to ensure costs are allocated in accordance with the Group’s requirements. The business prides itself on internal development and growth for its team members, so this would lend itself nicely to potential opportunities internally in the future.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
-Production and development of month end processes
-Budgeting and forecasting
-Preparation of financial statements
-Analysing financial performance for the business.
You will also need to act as a business partner to all stakeholders, be willing to challenge current ways of working and look at process improvements as and when needed.
To apply for this role, individuals must be commercially astute, with clear and concise communication skills that can influence senior management and neighboring departments within the business. Advanced Excel skills are essential as you will be required to demonstrate good spreadsheet design techniques. Ideally you will be fully qualified or at the final stages of your ACCA/CIMA/ACA studies, with prior experience as a Management Accountant
