Page Personnel are recruiting a Permanent Assistant Accountant to join a well established company with offices based in Fenton.
Client Details
A well established company, market leaders in their chosen field, are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant you will be reporting into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the accountancy function.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assist with the production of monthly management accounts; bank reconciliations; review of overheads and analysis work against budget; reconciliation of creditors on a monthly basis; processing of supplier payments; reconciliation of supplier statements; posting of purchase invoices onto system; matching of purchase orders to orders and delivery notes; managing of purchase order system and cost control; process employee expenses.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be AAT Qualified, or have equivalent experience - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of working in a varied accounts role - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel and Sage - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
