The Data, Analytics & Reporting enablement (DARe) team is an agile, business focused, data analytics & reporting centre of excellence; creating value by enabling insights to drive informed business decisions.

We look to partner with and add value to our customers across Financial Services by providing robust, scalable and fit for purpose data and reporting solutions. We ensure any solutions provided are not only aligned to business needs but are also designed and delivered in a manner which provides robustness, flexibility and responsiveness. We also have a focus on ensuring anything we prioritise for delivery aligns to strategic Group objectives and realises an appropriate return on any investment of time and/or resources.

Do work that matters
  • Drive accountability to ensure consistent, quality and timely strategic data solutions to support downstream Performance Reporting applications, analytical capability and/or reporting solutions
  • Define and ensure adherence to development and documentation standards to ensure fit for purpose solutions delivered that are robust and aligned to architecture as well as high level solution design
  • Promote and drive the use of strategic data sets especially GDW2.0 and established development standards (e.g. TCF) in delivering robust and where required dynamic data delivery capabilities
  • Support the team to collaborate with design team and translate high level solutions into detailed solutions
  • Promote and drive opportunities to broaden DARe's data delivery service offering and customer base by leveraging team capability and cross BU data sets and capabilities more effectively
  • Apply process excellence principles to drive efficiency, create capacity and deliver business benefits

We're interested in hearing from people who
  • Extensive experience in delivering strategic data solutions
  • In depth knowledge of Agile project delivery practices
  • Tertiary qualification (MIS/technical specialisation)- > 10 years' experience in relevant technical management role
  • SQL, Data Vault Architecture and BI development principles and technologies experience
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, research and problem solving skills
  • IT or business qualification
