As Head of Financial Accounting & Control you will lead the Financial Accounts and Control team in the delivery of a robust, proactive financial information and control service to the Finance and Operating teams.

Description
As Head of Financial Control & Accounting, reporting to the FD your duties will include:
- contributing to the overall UK Finance vision and strategy for people, process improvement and change management
- leading and direct a team of 2, indirect circa. 12
- covering technical and central accounting areas such as provisions, insurance, pensions etc. and monthly balance sheet and cash flow consolidation
- managing and reporting monthly working capital position including understanding of the position and providing and communicating actions plans to approve
Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Be ACA qualified or equivalent
- have industry experience where you have experience in interpreting IFRS and implementing new standards
